Fabia schneebeli-Schacher
Born at Lugano in 1976.

Attends the CSIA at Lugano, obtaining a diploma in graphics in 1996..
Subsequently travels to the East and to Africa, where her passion for jewellery and that which it can communicate matures.
From 1999 to 2001 attends the AFEDAP school at Paris, obtaining a diploma as a jeweller.
Returning to Ticino she opens a workshop at Lugano where she works as a self-employed jeweller and organises private courses.
During the summer of 2003 she spends 3 months at Benares in India where she is able to practise traditional techniques with an Indian jeweller.
In 2005 she collaborates with the canton of Ticino in the organisation of jewellery atelier for their "adult courses". From the end of 2004 until July 2007 she moves to Berna where she continues to work for herself, also collaborating with Beatrice Lang's prestigious gallery.
She spends two working holidays on the untamed Canary Island of "El Hierro", where she creates her "double bass" collection in 2005 and, in 2007, "double bass 2".
In May 2007 she is invited to present her collections at the exhibition entitled "Exotic, contemporary jewellery, flower and perfume design", organised by the Bernese foundation for applied arts in the historic residence of Elfenau
In July 2007 she moves to Tuscany, setting up her workshop deep in the countryside, from which she organises courses and workshops, remaining in close contact with her customers and various Swiss galleries.
